This study aims to examine the role of the laity as an apostolic ministry. Related to the Lumen Gentium chapter IV, laity has their unique vocation, namely the world. Due to their limitation, priests can not manage some of pastoral activities; but, lay people can. This active participation is realized concretely their ecclesial live through categorical groups. This concrete effort is often underestimated because they are only lay people. It is the problem to be investigated: how the role of lay people can really be felt by parishioners. This research employed phenomenological approach. There are seven persons with various backgrounds of ecclesiastical structural positions who involved in it. The research findings revealed that the Holy Trinity Community plays a fairly active role in apostolic work both in the parish and basic ecclesial neighborhood. The community brings positive impacts through spiritual activities. The existence of Holy Trinity Community is a means of proclamation and realizing the role of laity in church life.
