The spiritual journey of young Catholics is a nuanced expedition influenced by a myriad of factors, encompassing the personal, cultural, educational, and environmental dimensions. Firmly rooted in unwavering faith, moral values, and commitment to religious teachings, the notion of "good" spirituality assumes a pivotal role in defining their position within the Church communion. The sacrament of Baptism serves as the gateway into this faith community, bestowing upon believers the duty to sanctify life. Acknowledging the diverse pathways of spiritual development among young Catholics is essential for a more inclusive and effective approach to religious education and pastoral care. In a world undergoing rapid transformations due to external influences, it becomes imperative for the Church to comprehensively explore the nuanced dynamics shaping the spirituality of the younger generation. This study, recognizing the interconnectedness of personal backgrounds, faith experiences, culture, education, occupation, and social environments, employs a qualitative research approach involving in-depth interviews, focus groups, and participant observations. Through purposive sampling, a diverse array of perspectives is captured, revealing factors that contribute to or hinder "good" spirituality. Preliminary findings highlight the intricate interplay of personal, cultural, and environmental factors in shaping the spiritual development of young Catholics. Themes such as the influence of family dynamics, the impact of educational experiences, and the role of the broader societal context emerge from the data. These insights form a foundational basis for developing targeted strategies aimed at enhancing spiritual development and fostering a profound connection to faith among young Catholics.
